About the Band

A Story Steeped in Sound

Leipzig Lab was formed in 2016 by Kieran Bahlmann and Alex Steve, the two singer/songwriter/musicians met at a work team building exercise and found a shared passion for music.
As a test case the two created and submitted their first song "In Between" to an APRA song writing contest, by doing so they recognised that their individual styles together created an original and accessible sound that they wanted to bring to the public.
It was the birth of Leipzig Lab.
